When George “The Giant” Floyd took over the lead role of Floyd Mayweather in the TV series The Giant, his real-life persona was a very different one from the one portrayed on the screen.
In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Floyd admitted that he had to play the role to stay in character.
He said that he was always the real Floyd Mayweather, who had been involved in boxing since he was a child.
Floyd said he had no intention of ever appearing in a movie about Floyd Mayweather or boxing.
“I would never do it,” he said.
“That’s just not me.
I’d rather be known for what I’m doing now.
I’m trying to be a champion of this sport.
And it’s a beautiful sport, but it’s also very dangerous.””
I’m the one who is in the fight,” he continued.
“I’m not the one to make it seem like I’m not.”
Floyd is not the only star in a TV show to be involved in an illegal fight.
In January 2018, the Oscar-winning actor, director and producer Sam Raimi came under fire for allegedly engaging in a fight with another actor and punching him in the face during a screening of the movie Fight Club.
The actor, who is married to a former wife, had to pull out of the screening after the altercation broke out.
A statement from Raimíi’s rep said that the actor had been given the benefit of the doubt during the investigation, and he was relieved that the matter was resolved in a professional manner.
“The producer of Fight Club was not involved in the incident with Sam R.I.P.,” the statement said.
